Hello!
I have a 150gal Saltwater tank that has been up for about 3 years. I recently started adding corals in addition to my fish.
I recently checked my levels now that the corals (one tube coral, a rather large frog spawn, and a calm) have settled.
PH: 8.2
Calcium: 350
DKH: 5
Phos: 0 or at least to low for the API kit to detect
Nitrate: 0 or at least to low for the API kit to detect
Nitrite: 0 or at least to low for the API kit to detect
Ammonia: 0 or at least to low for the API kit to detect
So obviously I need to get my DKH up. I have a large garbage can holding RO water as my auto top off. Would adding Sodium Bicarbonate to this so that my tank it gets doses slowly over the day everyday be a good way to raise my DKH permanently?
Or any other advise would be great on how to higher my DKH and Calcium long term would be great.
