Can i bare bottom QT for melanurus wrasse?

I have been thinking of getting a melanurus wrasse for a while now. I've decided to order one but now I'm thinking should I add sand to my QT as they sleep and hide in the sand or will it be ok for a few weeks?

I have sand in my QT for these types of wrasses and it has not effected medications. Also the sand I have in my QT is not in a bowl just added a small 5lb bag of sand and PVC elbows.

Add a clear tupperware with sand in the QT for it to hide.

Add a little container with 2-3” of sand for the wrasse and it’ll be fine.

No - you'll want at least a container w/ sand, as others have said.
