Can I bleach rock in my garage?

Need to bleach cure about 80lbs of rock. It would be a bit of a pain to do it on my back deck. I watched the brs videos and they say about not doing it in your garage but is it really that unsafe as long as I would have the garage door open anytime I have the lid off of the container?

I threw more than that in a brute trash can with the lid on you couldn't notice. Garage doors closed. Let it marinate for a week

I have done it multiple times.
The amount of bleach used isn't really all that much.

It's not the bleach, it's the potential stink. If it's dirty rock, it's going to smell!
