I’m on vacation in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. I took a walk down on the beach and found several types of sargassum, marine grasses and mangrove seedlings all over. I’m planning to return to the U.S. tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone can legitimately weight in on whether I can bring this stuff back for my Refugium. I googled for a while and all I could find was that most plants are not allowed, however most the plants described are plants grown in soil for agricultural purposes. I couldn’t find anything specifically related to marine macro algae. If you have anything for me let me know ASAP my flight leaves Saturday afternoon. Thanks a million!
