Can I cut a single polyp from a pandora colony ?

So... I have a colony of pandora zoa's and one is frumpy and umbrellaing. Is it safe for the colony if I just cut the frumpy one off? or will it hurt the others? I've heard the smothering with superglue idea, but I kinda just want this one gone..
And its touching my LA lakers.
Should I just do away with it or should I tick it off and cut it and see what happens?
The cutting will happen outside of the tank.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I don't want to harm my other pandoras.

I frag zoas all the time. Just cut that one away from the colony and remove the foot. Shouldn't take too long for the colony to heal from it. It's recommended to dip in a solution of lugols iodine to aide in recovery. It's pretty easy to remove a single polyp and I wouldn't be worried about it affecting the colony.
