Can I do a h2o2 dip on micro goniapora?

I have some algae on a frag of micro goniapora. Will it tollerate a h2o2 dip OK?

H202 is a powerful oxidizer. Its effect on tissue can be quite damaging. Including our own skin. Now a polyp has much less protection and the oxidative stress thats incurred could lead to serous damage.
That said i have use H2O2 to treat algae.
I remove the rock and apply to coral free areas. Areas closer to corals i use a dropper to apply only to areas that will not leak onto the coral.
If the algae is over taking the coral, something else is out of order, chemistry, flow etc.
For algae on a coral i use a turkey baster for what will blow off and proper CUC for what wont.

Anyone else do peroxide dips on gonis? I can not spot treat my frag so need to dip the whole thing. Looking for a water to h2o2 ratio to use.

The most you can safely use is the 1 mil per ten gallons dilution, its the known safe dosage across corals but personally id never use a dip. post a pic theres a way to spot treat it outside the tank, without a dip I bet. A dip is not how I would fix algae on the exposed skeletal parts, post pic. I think the coral would survive, but its not the best way

So I did a 4 min dip in 50/50 tan water and h2o2. Will see what happens.
