How would i go about doing that?Yes you can. Parameter adjustments should always be done gradually.
You either increase effluent output while maintaining the same reactor pH or decrease reactor pH...or both. Either of those will increase the amount of dissolved calcium carbonate in your tank. How would i go about doing that?
How would i make sure it doses slowly and doesn't bring up levels rapidly? You either increase effluent output while maintaining the same reactor pH or decrease reactor pH...or both. Either of those will increase the amount of dissolved calcium carbonate in your tank.
You just need to make minor changes. Are you running a pH controller? If so, either open the effluent output just a bit or drop the pH by maybe .1. Then wait a day and test. If you're not using a controller, you can just slightly increase the needle valve which regulates the CO2.How would i make sure it doses slowly and doesn't bring up levels rapidly?
