Help! I am setting up my first saltwater tank and need help on designing a sump to fit my stand. I have a 90gal wavefront with a matching stand. I am planning on starting with soft corals as I've heard they are best for a nubie like me. The tank was purchased used and came with an HOB Emperor 400 and an Eheim 2215. Both are being used currently as my tank goes through it's cycle. My hope is to remove the canister once I have a sump and skimmer in place while keeping the HOB for backup. Maybe even add in a reactor. The problem is that my stand doesn't allow much space for what I'm wanting. I'll post a pic and also provide measurements. From the back to the front of the stand measures about 20". There is a small cabinet in the middle that divides two open sections that are approx 14.5"x20"x28". Also i have about 8" from the wall to the stand to play with if needed and i wouldn't mind if the sump came a few inches off the front if i had to. This leaves me with little room to manage but hoping I don't have to abandon the sump idea. Any suggestions?
