I'm thinking about getting a valentini puffer. Currently, I have 2 clownfish, a starfish and a few corals. Would the pufferfish be compatible?

The Valentini should be fine in a 30. But the starfish is toast.
Valentini is THE most curious and annoying fish (to tankmates) on the planet. I've had four, one picked on a small eel and lost, one picked on a weakened dogface puffer and lost, one got really BIG and I gave it to a friend for his 110, and I still have one in a 90.
They are curious about everything that enters the tank. Be careful taking water samples, they will bite your fingers. Anything, and I mean ANYTHING you drop in the tank gets immediately "investigated" (pecked), no matter the size.
I love them, you just have to understand they are the nosey old lady nextdoor of fish.

This is a perfect summary of a V puffer I have ever read. Turning off lights is a gooooood idea when adding anything. Acclimation boxes are a must for smaller fish. Mine doesn’t nip my hands but does spit water at me when he sees me walk by.

They are not reef safe or at least caution with your coral

What kind of starfish? They tend to not do well in tanks. The puffer should be fine but don't be surprised if he nips at some of your corals.

I have a Valentini puffer and he is fine with my finger, toadstool, mushroom, torch and bubble coral however he bite a whole in my Brain traphy coral so that had to go back to the LFS. He also is fine with my crabs and snails so far
