Hi all! Tank has been up 85 days with all Marco rock. Definitely had a diatom bloom or two for awhile but now seems to be turning more into a brown algae. I use RODI with 0 tds. My banded trochus snails are eating it well, they leave big patches of “white” rock. It is on the sand bed but blows off easily. It does blow off the rocks, but not quite as easily as before. Now it seems to be growing more hair like. Patches of red on sand bed have popped up and on the rocks I have 2 or 3 patches of green that showed up last night. I figure I’m on the right track but want to be sure.
Maybe I should start dosing nopox again? I stopped after the initial use of it during the Red Sea Reef Mature process because phos and no3 were zero. They are now higher.
