Tank has been up since mid February. Fish since the beginning of April. This has been plaguing me for the last week or so. Any ideas? Was assuming diatoms but I didn't think they'd be as "fuzzy" as what I have.

I think that's a child plaguing your tank. Doesn't sound fuzzy tho, just very young. Wait till they are in teen years. Oh boy.
