Can I get pop from my t5 set up?

I have a 48" 8 bulb T5 fixture over my mixed 120-gallon tank. I am looking to get the pop that my son has over his 15-gallon with his old Chinese black box led. Both are young tanks coral-wise, but his just have a pop or glow that mine seem to lack.

Is there a suggested t5 bulb combo to help bring out the glow in corals?

Actinics is about it… you’ll never match that royal blue led with a t5 bulb alone… you can add a reefbrite Xho bar and get that pop or any led bar today honestly..

Blue Plus coupled with True Actinic makes it glow enough for me.
