Can I get some help identifying algae

. These numbers where before I put carbon back in I suspected Dino and used Dino x but it didn’t touch it

This also happened when I had carbon in but I suspect it went bad over my trip to Hawaii

Looks like Diatoms to me. How old is the tank?

It’s about 2-3 years old

Difficult to tell from the photos but could be diatoms. Turbo and Astraea snails should clean the rocks. A Fighting Conch or two will keep the sand bed clean.

I have 5 Fighting Conchs in my reef tank and have had no problems whatsoever with them.
