My tank was running high on phosphates and nitrates. Its not a new tank, its been up for years. I had life stuff going on that caused me to slack on it for awhile. Luckily i didn't really lose much coral or anything but while getting things back on track i got an ATI test results showing my phosphate at .54 mg and nitrate 26.93. I already went through weeks of big water changes, cleaning sand and sump and etc to bring levels down (phosphate still up, looks close to .25). Instead of turning my GFO reactor on and bringing it down to fast i put some goo in a media bag in sump to bring it slower but also decided to seed some export blocks and drop in sump with Microbacter7.

Everything i read about it says dosing it naturally brings P04 and nitrate down so i was now wondering should i dose some in tank??? Can it hurt anything to do so?

I used a half gallon of Microbacter 7 battling dinos and it didn't hurt anything. have you tested your RO/DI water? just a thought.
Sand bed under live rock can harbor a lot of detritus. I would bet that is your issue.

What do you have in the way of corals to consume nutrients?

I haven't ever seen anything written about it being harmful to use, if you follow the bottle dosing instructions.
I will add though that when used, myself and others have seen cyanobacteria come to life during use.

When this happened after starting my current tank back late summer this year, I stopped dosing it and instead let the tank settle down on it's own while trying to keep the sand and rock clean with blowing/siphoning and lots of filter sock changes.

Are you having algae issues? If not, just keep up with your current cleaning.
