can I have scented candles in a closed room with my fish tank?

I posed a similar question before. We have a couple tanks in our home. One in the living room. We use a diffuser with essential oils in that room. We will often use clove oil which is common to euthanize fish. We have had no problems. I’d be more concerned about spraying air fresheners in the room as opposed to burning a candle.

I burn candles throughout my house. I keep the candles about six feet away from the tank. I have an oil warmer also and that’s on the other side of the house. I think you’re safe. Good question though.

You can. But just because you have candles burning doesn't mean you can pass wind... Methane is a killer. ;Vomit

Yes you can
I also have a 3D Resin printer in my fish room and I have to wear a mask because the stuff is nasty. My fish don't usually wear masks.

I also spray paint in there and they still don't seem to mind. But that is probably not a great thing to do.

But I think candles are fine as long as you don't burn them in the tank. :p
