I know cardinal fishes normally live in groups or in pairs, but is it possible to hold 1? together with a gramma loreto, and 2 clownsfish? 22 Gallon aquarium.
dont want to overstock the tank, or could a couple also be fine?

I always keep 1 lone bangaii. They do seem to grow up quickly and die after about 3 years?

Ive had one Banggai well over 3 years

My banggai is around nine years old. Got him plus four others after a Superstorm Sandy wipeout. He killed the other four.
That's awesome.

I get mine as small 1" juveniles from the big box store. They grow really quickly to full 3" size over maybe a year or 2, but don't last terribly long after that for some reason.
