+1, size matters when you're adding fish that may fight. honestly, i wouldn't even risk 2 angels in a 65gal unless you have a plan b when things go awryIve done it without issue multiple times. Get females if you can and try introducing them all at once. My old 110 gallon had a bicolor, flame, a rusty, 2 coral beauties, and a potters without issue. My old 187 gallon had 2 flame, 2 coral beauties, a bicolor, a lemonpeel, a potters, and a nox. My old 380 gallon had 2 coral beauties, 2 flames, a lemonpeel, a bicolor, a potters, a nox, 2 multibar, a multicolor, a collins, and a pygmy. All got along fine.
My current 180 will have a coral beauty, flame, rusty, lemonpeel, and bicolor.
In a 65 gallon, I wouldn't do more than 2, add them at once and get the smallest individuals you can find to help guarantee they are still female.
Fwiw, nox was the least coral friendly out of all of them I kept, even more so than the lemonpeel and bicolor.I'm going to try to do a coral beauty and a nox, ill post on how it goes
Me neither. Usually have fought to the death. Tried added together @ the same time and tried with a acclimation box. Had a BiColor that was aggro to an Elibi in the box, literally would swat at the box and headbutt it.Mixing angels can be done, but 65 g is going to make it Extremely unlikely.
I've never personally had success with it from a 120 to a 180.
36x18x24What are the dimensions of the 65?
im not keeping anything fancy, just zoas GSP and duncansFwiw, nox was the least coral friendly out of all of them I kept, even more so than the lemonpeel and bicolor.
