A sandsifting goby with a mandrian? Currently I have the mandrian but would like a diamond goby to help keep my sand clean.. Will they co-exist? And will the sandsifter eat all the pods?

I think at 4' you'll be ok... there may be some skirmish here and there but that is mostly to scare each other out...

I think the only problem you have to worry about is the diamond goby trying to jump out they are jumpers
