Can i make DIY AFR without the trace elements?

As the title says Ill be doing Reef moonshiners method and trace in Major element dosing wont work with the program. Will this work? Thank you

You can certainly dose calcium formate DIY, if you can find it at an acceptable price. Cost has always been the issue with that method, and is perhaps why some companies (e.g., Salifert) in the past have chosen calcium acetate.

Yes, its just tropic marins CarboCalcium Powder and Bio-Magnesium without adding the A- and K+. The A- and the K+ are the trace elements.

Awesome! Ill be doing it with the powders and it should make gallons of the stuff diy, compared to its readily made counterpart... Or ill see what i can do with kalkwasser since that doesnt have trace elements either
