I have a 12g nano with soft corals, lps and sps (mushrooms, zoas, acan lords, Hollywood stunner chalice and yellow panope birdsnest). I run gfo in a reactor and have purigen in the sump. I also run a coralife skimmer. My numbers are good, nitrates between 5-10ppm, ca, mg, ca all normal or on the high side, ph 7.9-8.1. My corals look fine but they're not growing as quickly as I'd like. I run LEDs, 45w, 8 blues@40% for 8 hours and 5 whites@10% for 3 hours. I don't run carbon but wonder if I should. I also wonder if I should adjust the lights. Another part of me wonders if I should just leave everything alone. Any suggestions would be helpful!!

A watched pot never boils. Or something like that . Growth is slow. You have a small tank . So fast growth would fill quickly. Carbon will not make worse, in my opinion.
Lighting change - a gamble ? You could really mess up ?

I know, right? I should probably count myself lucky and leave everything alone.
