I'm trying to test and balance a few things because algae grows, but corals refuse, and I'm wondering if there is a way to measure what is going on with the lighting?

The photone app works well with your cell phone and was fairly accurate. You want your blue and uv channels at 100% white maybe 25 and red or green 10 or less as a rough base.

I would love to tell you I have an LED light setup... But I do not yet that is what is making this tricky

What kind of light do you have?

We purchased a PAR meter a few years ago, which has come in handy occasionally. You could look us the fixture on YouTube to see if anyone else has tested the PAR on the light fixture...of course, you might have already.

Good idea! Thanks! I'm looking forward to getting to replace this light set up in the future
