Can I mix cupramine and coppersafe?

I wasn't aware of the recent coppersafe shortage following my initial doses.. I checked today and im at 1ppm using an API kit. My QT tank is bare a 4x2x2 120g tank. Is it safe to just add cupramine on top of the existing copper safe and test using seachem's test kit? At the end of the day its just copper right?

its best not to mix, cupramine is ionic and copper safe is chelated. two totally different types of copper.
