Can I mix salt?

I ran out of Red Sea salt as I was adding it to a 10g tank, could I add the remaining needed salt, which is Instant Ocean Sea Salt, into the tank? Thanks!

Nothing in the tank but water and low salt? Then add more salt. Once you get critters it's best to match parameters and that is easier if you are using the same salt. hth!

I added water to my hospital tank, then added rest of Red Sea salt, needed more but I only have the Instant Ocean

Cool, I'm trying to set up a hospital tank and I ran out of salt, hopefully, nothing goes wrong with mixing the two salts together...
