As stated, can I? I really need to know as my yellow tang has a bad bacterial infection in my copper power treated tank and want to out melafix in. Thx in advance!

Run activated carbon for a few days . Then put it in but take out the carbon

There was a post back in 2020 that said the two wouldn't have a reaction with one another. But I would try to get some copper out.

I’m not asking to run carbon, i’m asking if i can put melefix in with copper power

I wouldn't lower your copper concentration (under therapeutic levels) until your 30 days is up, otherwise you will have to restart the clock for your copper treatment.

I'd either add the melafix to the copper, or wait till you are done with your copper treatment.

I've used both before and it was fine.... other than the melafix seemed to cause my QT tank water to foam a bit and feel slimy. I did a water change soon after the treatment.

watch your o2 levels when treating.
