Can I put this in my sump

Thinking of using the bottom half of this as a skimmer stand in my sump & am wondering if it's safe. Thanks in advance for any help.

I use a similar container for catching bristleworms, so I think you're good using it in your sump.

that is unfilled polypropylene....it is reef safe....the number 5 inside the triangle is the indicator....I am a plastics molder by day and reefer by night

Thank U so much. I just put it in. Ages ago I remembered a guy at a drinking water store telling me the number has to do with quality of the container. Glad I remembered & took a picture of the bottom. Happy that the plastic man was cruising the Forums [emoji4] [emoji106]

You might want to make some holes in it so it doesn't catch air and float
