Can I re-use Furan-2 dip?

I am treating a zoa with Furan-2 for some zoa pox. It has been discontinued because of an FDA issue so I am trying to conserve what I have. Is there any reason that I shouldn't reuse the Furan-2 dip during the 3 days of treatment? I would prefer to not make a new batch every day.

(The issue was that it was being marketed for animal use in a manner that was not approved by the FDA)

Doubt it would do anything, nitrofurazone has a half life of 5 hrs.

I wouldn’t reuse it but if it’s only a single frag just use a smaller water volume and half a pack or a third instead and split it up that way

I guess I should have found this out before I reused it an hour ago. Maybe I will dip it again tonight with a new batch

The good thing is that using the reused batch couldn't hurt anything.

Isn't 5 hours the elimination half-life in mammals? I don't think you can extrapolate from this to a half-life in extracorporeal solution. I doubt anyone has determined the half-life in a synthetic ocean water solution, it may be much longer (or conceivably shorter).
