My elegance detached itself from the base. I think it did this because it was stung by some floating euphyllia polyps from the coral above. Not sure if it will survive, but how can I reattach it to the its base...can I use superglue? I am concerned the glue will impact the soft tissue. There is no hard tissue to add glue to. Ideas?
I tried setting it onto the base hoping it would get hooked on the base teeth, but it got caught up in the water flow and floated off. I tried doing it in a low flow area with no luck.
I know it's a long shot but I want to see if this coral can pull through. It still "looks" alive.
