Unfortunately a misbar ocellaris died tonight. Jumped on top of the screen top through a small opening for my two auto feeders. I'll cover that hole, even if it means stopping usage of the auto feeders. I'm sad because it was one of the first fish I introduced into my tank. :( The tank is a six foot 180g tank. I have three other "regular" ocellaris clownfish. Two of which host in metallic green mushrooms; for what it's worth. If I include rearrangement of rock work when added to the display tank, could I replace the misbar ocellaris for another one or two misbar ocellaris? My other fish are tangs, wrasse, bi-color dwarf angel fish, and a couple of gobys. I have an acclimation box which will be part of the introduction process.

Thanks for your help.

The other two that host in the anemone might not accept it. Having said that I have a pair of maroons that host in a gaggle of rose tips, I added a pair of DaVinchis to the tank, she bothered them but only to keep them out of the anemones (that's my home). Shouldn't be terrible but be prepared to lose the new one from getting beat up as it can happen.

As far as rearranging the rocks, I wouldn't as it could bother the anemones and casuse it to walk around the tank

Even though you have a very large tank I would risk adding a lonely clown. It’ll most likely just get bullied to death

The two host in mushrooms, not an anemone. I have a green LTA that sits lonely in the corner.

That's why I was thinking of adding multiple.

Also smaller the better. They haven't gendered yet, usually, which will allow for them to decide who is the female or lead male.

I purchased four ORA captive bread Ocellaris Clownfish from LiveAquaria. While in the acclimation chamber there were no signs of aggression from the other clownfish. Once released in the tank the three existing clownfish chased the newbies around for two days, max. Now everyone gets along great.

I have metallic green mushrooms, two of the clownfish host in the mushroom. The newbies appear to be hosting there also. I find it strange that they ignore the nems in the tank.
