As the title says. There is a really nice 150gallon acrylic tank for sale for $200. The only thing I don’t like it that the top has three holes drilled in it. Is it possible to replace just the top of an acrylic tank?

Does this photo help?Is the top you are reffering to bonded to the rest of the tank. It can be done if cut out and new acrylic rebonded.
You can add grommet type plugs in leiu of replacement as the top is likely fused if acrylicDoes this photo help?
I'm not experienced in working with acrylic, but it definitely needs the "top". That rim at the top is what braces the sides from bowing out and breaking. Reference "Euro-bracing" to learn about the function of the brace pieces.Another question. Does it even need the top? I seems to be on the inside of all the walls
