If I use a brute can for qt water prep (making up 50 gallons with Copper to 2.5) to do the BRS qt method of 100% water changes can I reuse that same container for regular saltwater after for a reef tank?

If not I will just buy one specific for qt water.

If I can, what processes must I follow to properly clean that bin so as to not leach/introduce copper to a reef tank.

The answer is Yes. I have done so and continue to use mine but I did wash out with bleach and water then cold water rinsed
Rock is porous, brute cans are not making them safe

Thank you. Years ago when I was last in the hobby I did not do any qt. Figured since I am starting over I might as well try to do things better this time around.
