I'm waiting for my conductivity probe to arrive, and the calibration solution. I think it's the 53 micro sems kind. Once I calibrate the new probe can I ziplock it to use it again? Also can I use it for my refractometer to calibrate it too?

If you prevent evaporation, yes, it is reusable.

The only 53 mS/cm solution that I know for sure is suitable for refractometers is Pinpoint. Otherwise, it depends on how they are made.

Yes do not let evaporation occur. After testing tank while drinking a few cold ones I managed to leave the lid off my bottle and didn't think nothing of it. Took me about 6 months to discover the issue and by then my salinity was around 1.035. So ya lol

Awesome thanks guys. I contacted neptune to ask its composition or if it can be used with a refractometer. We'll see what they say.
