Every thread I’ve search seems to treat with Prazi before they dose copper, but I want to dose for my gramma who’s been beat up pretty badly by ich.

Weird - that is exactly the opposite of what should be done. Copper handles protozoan issues which are the most acute, fast-killing disease issues. Praziquantel cures fluke infestations, which take weeks/months to cause fish mortality. in every case, you should dose with copper and deal with flukes later. If the fish have a bad fluke infestation, you can give them a FW dip to buy you some time while the copper works.

Your thread title mentions copper and kanaplex though - you can do that if there is a bacterial issue.
