I have 2 of the 15w AquaUV Advantage, which 1 is likely not big enough for my 300XL to control parasites - as it needs less flow, correct? It's borderline on the size for the tank, but it's plumbed from my return which is a Vectra S2.

Can I run the 2nd one with a little slower flow for more exposure until I move and am ready to purchase the Pentair?

Which parasites? Different parasites need different UV exposure.
For example Cryptocaryon Irritans (Marine Ich) needs at least 280,000 uW/cm2.

Perhaps two connected inline could reach that level at a very slow flow, but would you then still be turning over tank volume at least a couple of times per hour?

One is the hang on version. It was on a nano tank.

The other is plumbed inline.

As I said, depends on which parasite you're trying to manage.

Probably wont work for Ich, but will help with other parasites and Algae.

For a 300XL you need a Pentair 40 or something with similar exposure time/power to contol Ich.
