Ecotech Battery backup question: Hooked up the Mp10's to my Apex and the Ecotech battery backup the the Mp10 Drivers. Now my issue is when i put on feed mode, even if i program the powerheads to go off in Fusion, which it does, to meet my feed time interval, the backup power kicks on. Short of unplugging it during feed mode, is there a way to get around this? I don't have a WXM module on the tank and i don't want to have to unplug the battery backup each day during feeding. This is what i'd want to achieve ultimately, turn on feed mode through the Apex, Mp10's either go off or run VERY low so the battery backup doesn't kick on, then turns back on full speed after the interval is over. What are my options? Talk to me gurus.

If I'm understanding correctly, you're using the Apex the physically turn off the power to your MP10's. This is basically simulating a power outage and is the reason the battery backup is kicking on. Honestly, your easiest solution is to purchase the WXM module so that you can control the the MP10's directly from the Apex. They way is works once connected, you will set the MP10s to turn off (not physically from the Energy Bar) during your feed times. The Ecotech battery will not kick in because the MP10s are still connected to main power. Hope this makes sense.
