Can i use gorilla glue with coral

Heck, you could even plant it in rubble or within a crevice of heavier rocks. Given time it'll attach itself to what ever its touching. It just comes down to the method. With a rubberband you will be able to place it anywhere you want in the tank, optimizing best light and flow. Just be careful not to cut through the soft tissue from too much rubber band pressure.

I tied it once with 2 little rubber bands and the polys has opened up so im assuming its good... So I shoulf changr the rubber band every week correct?

I have never had luck with glue on soft corals and a rubber band has not worked for me either. What I do is take a sowing needle and thread and tie it to the rock making an x pattern through the base of the coral

And it eventually sticks to the rock?

Yes it will eventually attach to the rock after a few weeks and then you just cut the strings and your done. I have even heard of people sticking a toothpick through the base of the leather and tieing the tooth pick to the rock then after a few weeks pull the tooth pick out. I however never tried that method.

I would give it a minimum 1 week left untouched then check it.

You can also try tooth picks. I've used rubber bands before and they always seem to pull through the flesh when too tight, and fall of if too lose. I just screwer the frag with a tooth pick and glue the wooden tooth pick to a piece of rubble, frag, etc. Works very well with Xenia, which is dang near impossible to glue to anything.

Yes someone else gave me the toothpick idea which i will try if the rubber band doesnt work but right now i have 2 small rubberbands like an X on it tied around only once and is holding up pretty well. Thanks again

Idk if it will work with a leather. But with the ricordia I use to have. I just put it on the sand bed till it attached sand to it. Then I was able to put glue on the sand and attach it to my rock.

Never thought of that I will try that with mushrooms as I cant frag those to save my life. Everyone I have tried to glue has died in 24 hours.
