Can I use PVC cement on rocks?

I bought some PVC cements and thinking of using the left over cements to stick some of lower rocks with it. The rock I'm sticking is 4 lbs. Just side by side.

Short answer, no. PVC cement works by chemically bonding. It's not going to hold rock work together.

Save yourself the headache and just grab a bottle of super glue.

If I am not mistaken the way PVC cement works is by "melting" the 2 pieces of PVC together creating what is effectively a single piece of PVC. Similar if not the same as bonding 2 pieces of acrylic.
