Can i use QT tank after fish out without bleaching

my fish came out my QT after 14 days and know in 2nd tank" iv left that 1st QT with copper running for a week without fish! Iv saw a few more fish id like to buy!

Question is for you guys!
Can I just drop these fish in QT without bleaching everything 1st? there was no signs of white spot from 1st fish that was in tank!

should I just take old water out and put fresh saltwater in QT as would like to keep filter running and not clean because of mature media!

Were the fish that just came out from QT captive bred?? If yes than you shouldn’t have any issues but if they were not captive bred then I would worry.

I'd recommend not to bleach since it been running as a stable QT. I'd instead conduct a 50% water change and re-dose copper at therapeutic levels for another 14 days. Before you get a new fish conduct another 50% water change bring the dose to half of therapeutic and then acclimate new arrivals. Slowly ramp the copper back up over 2-3 days.

How big is the QT?

10gallon- bleach, rinse, dry. Why risk it

55 gallon with sand: you should probably reevaluate your system, but I would do as suggested. Water changes, maintain therapeutic copper then makes sure it’s all fresh before he arrivale

From what I have researched and understood, it could take 45+ days if there was any type of ich on those fish that came out of the QT, but as suggested by @pathot984 I would dose copper and change water and hope for the best. I have also learned that using the PolypLab Medic that get rid of the ich while in the swimming stage and there are videos on this medic. I have also bought this just in case I ever come across this issue and can use this as a preventative measure along with Prazipro. why would it matter if there was ich eggs or not in the 1st qt tank with copper? any theronts hatched should be killed instantly by the copper in water. Or am I completely wrong about all of these?

i would think keeping the filter media/bacteria in the copper tank alive would be better than sterilizing, less risk to ammonia poison with new additions.

Exactly. Just significant water change would be needed to maintain water quality for any new additions.

Thanks for the Help guys! will just do whot was said with 50% water change and bring back up to the max copper whot was 1.82 copper power" Then wait another 14 days and bring down to 1 ppm copper
