Background - I have a fairly large glass sump (fish tank sump) but the last section was used for an ato - I no longer use it for ato and it's unused dry space. I want to remove the glass wall separating it from the rest of the sump. That'll be easy to remove the Silicone there. However, I want to move some of the other sections that are currently wet over, I want to add some horizontal room for a new skimmer. I plan to drain the sump and re-Silicone the spacers back in. But, do they need a curing/drying time before getting wet? If it needs to be dry I'm sort of wondering how I will do this - or - is there a different type of glue/sealant I can use that'll hold and is reef safe?
