I intended to purchase Trisodium Phosphate (Na3PO4) but ended up with Sodium Triphosphate (Na3P3O10). I am trying to over come a porocentrum dino outbreak. It is extremely bad and I am having to dose like 45ml per day of NeoPhos just to get it to barely register on my red sea kit. Do I need to order Na3PO4? Can these be substituted? If so what should the Na3P3O10 be mixed at. Thanks in advance -Bill

I think I would not. A paper I saw suggested it may be very slow to hydrolyze to normal phosphate (at least without enzymatic help), and it may be more prone to precipitating.

Randy what about this one instead? I purchased it after reading your article last night also, in the comments on Amazon, a few folks said it worked on their Reef systems.

Thumbs up for that one! :)
