Can i use the left over saltwater i made 2 weeks ago? Its in a brute bucket with a wave maker on. Or all the calcium, alk and etc are no longer good in it?

I add water to my AWC and use out of it for 2 weeks without any issues that I know of.
Do you know how to read a hydrometer? Whats that exactly?

If I leave instant ocean salt mix in a bucket for to long it will start to precipitate off causing the water to look dirty. I use it anyways, it takes to long to make up 30 gallons of RODI water and the cost of the salt to just through it away. Never had any issues , but I would assume the ALK and Cal levels are lower.

Your hydrometer appears to be reading about 1.027. To read it properly, get down and look straight across the surface of the water and compare to the hydrometer. Ignore the meniscus of water that clings to the hydrometer.

I think the biggest risk in using old salt water is probably increased salinity due to evaporation and maybe some reduced alkalinity due to CO2 absorption, but this should be small. Calcium and other minerals should not change.
