I got apex salinity probe but assumed it came with fluid. Can I use this fluid to calibrate??

I don't have an Apex but I've got to believe it measures salinity by conductivity....and so yes, you can use that solution....that's what the 53 mS/cm is....conductivity....but I'm sure the Apex converts this to ppt or SG.

That brand should work, but not all refactometer solution will work to calibrate a conductivity probe. It is best to use the correct solution.

I have a RKE and that solution didn't work for me. As someone said you should stick with probe solution for probes and refractor solution for the refractometers.

I just used that for my Apex and it didn't work at all. It it shows my 1.028 per calibrated with the same stuff refractometer as a conductivity of 30.1.
