I’ve added a picture was just wondering if I remove the inner di resin chamber can I use it as a co2 scrubber and how would I attach the 10mm ro tube to the rubber tube of my nyos

The simple answer is NO, it will not work....or should I say, not work very well. You need to have an entrance and an exit on opposite ends of the absorbent (soda lime). Otherwise the CO2 laden air will only be passing over the top surface of the absorbent.

In addition, soda lime is relatively expensive and consumed quickly. It's more cost effective to bubble your air through a sodium hydroxide solution.
 
You would use the inner cartridge to hold your lime media. Air goes in at the bottom, out of the top. Just keep the DI resin out.
 
So I’d have to use the di chamber to have the air go in at the bottom and out the top to use all the media. So I could use that.

Not sure how restrictive it would be on the air flow, and I don’t run one, but the logic is sound to me.
