Yes sorry the sps is coming from Amy lfs and their is fish in their and I’m scared of carrying ick.now I know ick needs fish but I’m still scared

Is there a possibility of ich coming in with anything wet? Yes, but with a coral dip and rinsing with saltwater thoroughly after should remove any free swimming stage ich. RO/DI water will be very hard on the coral and is not advised. Saltwater and a good coral dip is the way to go. Following the dip manufacures instructions.

Coral dip won't kill the ich per say, but free swimming stage of ich can be rinsed off. Free swimmers can't attach to the coral surface very well.

Your main goal in dipping coral is to remove any coral pest and reducing their introduction into your system.

My lfs coral tanks are on separate systems from the fish tanks, so it's a near zero chance the corals are carrying ich. On a side note I don't worry about ich, I think people blow it out of proportion a little, it's also possible it's velvet they have and velvet is way worse.

don't do it bro! rodi water is for top offs and water changes.my wife thinks it's for making coffee taste better.
