Can KCl be used for all corals?

Hey guys can potassium chloride be used to dip all corals? I'm getting an acro and a monti and planned to dip both in KCl...this shouldn't be a problem for the Monti, right? Idk why it would be but I've primarily just heard of people dipping acros with it.
