So I was looking at one of my fastest growing SPS and then noticed a white patch in the side and also noticed the growth in the frag plug missing. I then see this little sucker on the rock!

Can Limpets do that to an SPS?

I may be wrong but most limpets will eat corals, but there are reef safe ones.
Check out their write up on reef cleaners and look into keyhole limpets. Good luck

This one was pretty fast moving for a limpet and the chunk it took was exactly the size of its foot. Must have been it because when I looked at that coral 60 mins earlier it was fine ! Beware of the limpet , hopefully it will grow back. All the polyps are now extended again

Some can and do eat coral, typically keyhole limpets, while others are herbivores. If you see it on a coral then I'd remove it.

That particular limpet is a known sps eater...bad lil snails...

Chuck it out of tank !! These are flesh eaters for some reason as Limpets are generally good natured !

Might be....also be wary of the elephant ear limpet...they like sps as well...
