Poor shipping basically, I won't put the vendor out as I believe he's a good vendor and that's not the point of my post, so don't ask. But the bag leaked causing the heat pack to not work, and the coral's water was down to 53 degrees on arrival. Received the coral yesterday.

Some color loss I would expect, and the skin was so tightly pulled in that there are several parts of skeleton that poked through. The mouth was open about a 1/4 inch and it threw up some junk after being in the tank for a couple hours, but the mouth closed back up. Its fluffled up a little today but some skeleton spikes still protruding. I checked last night at lights out and there were no feeding tentacles showing.

I'm sure the vendor will honor the loss but I'd like to save this guy. My first meat coral so I have no experience with this one. All I've really read is that they like to eat once a week, and some even think that's a requirement on these.

Edited for pic. You can see on each side where the skeleton pokes through.

I think it's no problem to make it back.
If Your water parameters is nice, try put your meet at low light with a little shade, to prevent its skeleton covered by algae . And feed something your meet coral.
Then just wait, it will back for sure.
