Can my clowns hurt my bta?

Tank is 2 years old
Parameters are all in the normal range though magnesium is high at 1410 and phosphates are reading 0 with seachem test

Tank is 30 gallons with a giant cave in the center, got a bta last week. instantly my clowns tried hosting it so it crawled into the cave and stayed in the dark for 4 days, day 5 he finally peeked out but stayed attached inside the cave, today his foot was super stretched out so he could get light and was happy and inflated clowns pestering it the entire time until I made the mistake of trying to adding more flow which instantly made him right angry and retracted back into the cave, now he's super tiny and sad looking but my clowns are still trying to pester it, I turned the extra flow off.
The reason I got the anemone is because my clowns keep pestering my corals to death, hammers, elegance, anything they deem worthy they bash into until the poor thing dies. Will he be okay until he gets settled and happy?

Mouth hasn't gaped at all and I searched for weeks until I found one that was healthy!

They can take some time to acclimate. Don't make any changes and keep things stable. Don't try to relocate the anemone either.

Unless the nem is too small for the clowns, I wouldn't be worried. If the nem is smaller than they are it could be a concern.

Will he be okay until he gets settled and happy?

Generally speaking, yes. If you let the nem do its thing, it will be fine even if it "hides" for a while.

However, there are cases where clowns are just too aggressive with nems (and coral, as you've experienced). It may require putting the clowns in an acclimation box or a separate tank for a while while the anemone becomes settled.

When its fully inflated its about 6 inches across, clowns are snowflakes so they're not crazy big. Just worried me how they're still bashing into it even tho it deflated to the size of a golf ball when I ticked it off!

Mine never leave their nems. Inflated or not.

I've never had a clown hurt a nem though not saying impossible. Most often the nem probably just went south for other reasons. I wouldn't worry about a 6" wide nem with any clown. Pics?

Hurt know but they can get so excited/agressive that they will literally beat/batter the anemone and stress them in some cases to point of death. It happened to me about 3 years ago and december - at my LFS

Here was it earlier today all happy and then it this now inside the cave im surprised the flash got a pic of it... I'm not sure how I made it so angry, turned flow on on the opposite side of the tank and it instantly shriveled up >.<

Thats what I was worried about i figured it would take them time to host, but they killed their last host and was looking for a new victim when I put this in. Had a clown jump out of my 2 inch feeding crevice and when I put the new one in he taught the bigger one how to host and have been menaces ever since >.< was nervous adding an anemone since I know they can be stressful and cause alot of damage when they die but the clowns are 2 years old now and im attached unfortunately

The clowns don't actually need to be hosted by anything.

Yeah I know it looks cute, but they'll just sleep in a corner if that's all that is available.

You probably don't have anything that's going to swallow them them whole.

Thats the problem, they keep killing all my hammers/torches/elegance coral. They pick their victims and bash it in for a few months until it dies a slow death then picks the next one.

Give it some time and let it adjust. It will move to the flow where it wants to be.

Set up a dedicated clown tank and give it/them to him as a gift

lol hes mostly supportive, but I'm not very emotional, unless something goes wrong in my fish tank. Then the water works start and he doesn't understand why im upset over fish
