I have a single A. nigricans thats about 4" long and the only other "herbivore" is a very small flame angel. My overflow is a GHA factory as is my refugium (along with Chaeto). There is also some bubble algae in the overflow. The DT however, has zero visible algae other than coralline. Clean up crew is modest with one huge (coffee cup size) turbo that I've had 5 years, a bunch of breeding trochus snails and 2 fighting conchs.
Is that one tang really making that much of a difference or is there something else that makes the DT different from the refugium/overflow?
NO3 is 0.25 and PO4 is 0.05-0.08.
