Can running your tank without light kill your live rock?

I broke the light on my fowlr tank a a few months ago and haven’t had the time to get a new one so I’ve just been leaving it with no light. Could this kill my live rock over time?

Some of it yes. Some of it no. Bacterias prob not. Algaes and photosynthetic stuff yes. Altho corralline algae can live a long time with no light. I put some live rock in my sump with no light andtheres still some corraline still alive on it 10 months later

Fish & live rocks don’t need lights. Fish actually don’t like lights. The denitrifying bacteria in the live rocks don’t need lights.

Live rock cured for extended time in the dark would be very desirable to many people.
Nutrient processing bacteria, with low photosynthetic organisms.
