I'm new to this forum and relatively new to salt water tanks. I've mainly had fresh water. I read a ridiculous amount on these topics so I have a basic understanding of the mechanics. My question is that I want to give the best advice I can on here. I try to answer at least a few questions a day that I feel I can help with. If anybody is up to it I was wondering if they could look over my posts to see if my ramblings are within the realm of reasoning. I wouldn't answer a post unless I really thought I could help in some way. I appreciate and will take any and all feedback into consideration. Thanks!

Sweety, i wouldn't worry about it. If you were wrong or off on any of your posts somebody would have pointed it out in that thread. Granted, it would have been gently pointed out, but you would know. :) Happens to everybody at one time or another. We can't all be right all the time.

I agree:)

When I first read your post (the one I am quoting), I looked at your profile and I did not see any thread started by you having to do with math. I then looked at the posts that you have posted, most of them are about GSP. I did not go through of them as I don't see how math can have anything to do with GSP. :)

I really wanted to help, but you need to post the link that you want us to look at .....

Or unless "check my math" has a different meaning that I don't know of. After all English is my second language!

Checking the math was slang for make sure I know what I'm talking about.. sorry I forgot how diverse this forum was.

That's an AWESOME thing about the forum @Dastins, every post seems to vetted fully.

This is just the internet, buddy. If you're wrong, you're wrong. Maybe you'll get verbally skewered for it, maybe not....but who cares? this is just the internet. Some folks take it super serial, some don't. Be one of the ones that don't.

nobody is going to "skewer" you here for being wrong. We pride ourselves on being the friendliest forum out there. I do applaud your wanting to make sure your giving the right advice though. Like I said though... If your wrong, you'll be corrected and then you'll learn the right answer. Then next time you'll be able to answer that question better. There is no "skewering" or flaming on this site. :D

LOL, ok thanks for the explanation. I actually would be have been able to understand what you mean if you posted a link... Anyway, I guess there are more than 1 post you wanted people to look at and give feedbacks :-)

Vetting means that facts are checked before posting to make sure good information is being passed along.

Actually, the vetting most often comes after the posts. ;)
